I bought these for my wife because we like to go hiking and she was looking for a "hiking sandal".She likes them, but thinks it makes her feet look a little "masculine" because of the color. I'd probably get her a more "girly" color if I had to do it again.She uses them probably out of guilt since I bought them for her. : )They let gravel and small rocks get between her foot and sole, so she has to take them off occasionally to knock them out. This obviously happens with any open sandal.They do well generally, and are especially good if you expect your feet to get wet on a hike.Would buy again, but probably a different color.
